The Istanbul International Sports Film Festival is being organized under the leadership of documentary filmmaker Gökçe Kaan Demirkıran.
 
The festival aims to be a new platform for sports-themed short films and documentaries, while also supporting directors and producers who want to create films in this genre.

The first festival was held in May 2025, and the second will be held in March 2026.
 
Sports, which are at the very heart of life, also provide a great stage for great narratives. In recent years, the number of sports-themed films in Turkey has been steadily increasing. Our festival aims to bring together actors, producers, and directors who make films with similar themes, both in Turkey and around the world.
